Waterside is not a town or village but rather an area that can be found on the western side of Southampton Water and is bounded on the far side by the New Forest National Park.

The Area starts in Eling and stretches all the way down the A326 and finishes at the end of the B3053 in Calshot

Residents in the area are fortunate to have the local beauty of the New Forest National Park only a small car journey or bike ride away and the cost of housing in the area is considered to be very reasonable given the proximity of the New Forest where house prices are extremely high.

The area also offers easy access to the Solent for keen sailors with Lymington not being to far away either.
